Dubai & Germany Sept 2017 - Part 2

After a short trip to Dubai, we fly to Germany . Is very exciting cause I never been to Europe country.

We stayed in Ibis hotel at Heidelberg, a small but convenient hotel with walking distance to train and tram station. Really convenient.
Heidelberg is a town with many university, thus they have nick name call city of university.
Heidelberg is in the Rhine Rift Valley, on the left bank of the lower part of the Neckar in a steep valley in the Odenwald. The view at the old town with church and castle around here is superb and really peaceful and nice. Is like a fairytale ! Love this place and really don't mind to come again.

Hubby is attending training during weekday office hour, thus I just take tram around the city of Heidelberg. The people don't speak much English , the younger generation are fine but not the old generation. Germany is big and just Heidelberg itself is enough for me at that time. I love the solo traveller feeling, it makes me feel freedom and exciting.
When I was there, they have many lavenders around the road side..is so common there.

Dubai & Germany in Sept 2017- Part 1

It was my 1st time to Dubai & Germany. Thanks to my hubby who needs to attend training at Heidelberg Germany so I can tag along the journey.

Dubai is our stopover destination since we have friends there and we can stay over in his condo. Dubai is a city with luxury shopping and personally I think is quite expensive there, except our visit to sand dune which the price is quite reasonable. Of course, besides catching up with old friends we also visit their famour Burj Khalifa. I also realised, they have many indian labours there . The local are mostly the boss or they don't seems working. Here are some of our pictures taken at Dubai.

 Sand dune tour include dinner at their camp. Beware that the jeep on the sand is scary and might encounter car sick . So don't overeat when you about to start the journey.

Below are the 2 famous and expensive hotels in Dubai. The rich only can afford to stay there.

This is one of the yatch harbour in the middle of the city. Many peoples like to hang around for the view and coffee

 

This place look cute and fancy color. This is one of their R & R along the highway. Pricey food and drinks there.
