Northern Region Trip on 25th ~27 June 09

This is really a suprise and adventure trip that i ever had. really have no idea why my hubby have such mood to travel like this.
We were going back to Sg Petani on 23/June, Tuesday after work. So we reached SP around 12am, as usual he love the mini nasi lemak there so we bought some for our supper. The nasi lemak cost us about RM0.60/pkt and my hubby usually need to eat 2 pkts to fill his stomach.
The next day on Wed, we went to the temple to do the ceremony to invite my mom in law back to the house with our 'chou sin' back to our old house in Semeling. Then we settled everthing within the same afternoon. We spend another nite in Semeling on Wed.
On Thurs, we just spend sometime with my father in law and myself cook lunch for them. Then we proceed to Ipoh around 4.30pm . We reached Ipoh at around 7.30pm and we meet up our Auntie for dinner and put a nite in her house at Simpang Pulai. They had a big nite market there on Thur nite, so we went there for some ipoh food ..lor.
Friday morning, we went to Ming Kok Tim Sum as Foh San is closed on that day. This is my 1st time eating Ming Kok Tim Sum, honestly i don't really like it. I prefered Foh San . The old Foh San building closed now and they will open a new outlet (very big building) just opposite Ming Kok on 02nd July. Hopefully, this new Foh San will keep the same quality taste & size of tim sums..

After the Tim Sum's breakfast, we went to Pasir Pinji to buy some Ipoh Yong Tau Foo..for our steamboat dinner at Cameron. I love this food..yummy.
We reached Cameron on Friday around 1230pm and we checked into a new hotel call Titiwangsa. We paid RM108 for 1 nite accomodation, breakfast & steamboat dinner.
We enjoyed our stay at Cameron as the weather is very cold and nice. As usual, after dinner we went to their nite market for their famous corn, sweet potatoes etc.

The next day, after breakfast we went to Tea Shop and enjoying our cup of tea and the scenery there. I was glad that my daughter is sleeping through out the journey to & fro Cameron otherwise i really not sure whether i can control my car sick that well.
Anyway, the road from Simpang Pulai to Cameron is very wide and so much better compared to the old road from Tapah.

After we enjoyed our tea scenery, we went to Sungkai town for our famous 'brewed pig trotter'. It was really delicious and is really a good combination to go with white rice..yummy. Even my daughter love the mixture. After lunch at Sungkai, we went to Sungkai Hot Spring.

This is our 1st visit there and it was well maintain there. The villa there are nice but really not sure what to do there if to overnite there cos the felda is rather inside and is nothing there..only the plantation. We spend 2 hours at the hot spring and we proceed our way back to KL. We reached Subang around 5.00pm and all us was so tiring but fun..u know

This is the spring pool with a octopus slide..quite fun though and the water is cooling

This is a special hot spring water, the temperature is more than 100 deg C and is only meant for egg boiling. Must give a try the taste of the egg using this hot spring water. Some people were saying they taste better..i really can't differentiate it.

This is one of the warm pool and is good for young kids so they won't catch the cold easily..

I rather pity my hubby as he got itchy on his body due to allergy. Not sure what he ate , most probably over consumed durian ..hahaha. But he is so kind to bring us here & there with his itchy body...
Last but not lease, here's the address of the brew pig trotter at Sungkai.
Choy Kee Restaurant
35 Jalan Besar 35600 Sungkai Perak Darul Ridzuan.
Location : To get to Sungkai town, turn at Sungkai exit on North-South Highway, which is between Bidor exit and Slim River exit. Around an hour drive from Ipoh.
