Melbourne Australia June 2018- Day 5

Day 5 - is our free and easy day. The 1st place we went is Queen Victoria Market by tram.
We explore the market , ate the fresh strawberries, cherries there and we had our lunch there .
Also tried their famous doughnut. Indeed very fluffy.     Their fresh and big cherries..so delicious.
Their yum yum fish & chips.

Queing for their fresh & yummy doughnuts

After Victoria market, we take tram to Carlton Park , Melbourne Museum . Love the park, so clean and beautiful scenery.

After all these scenery and photo shooting session, we went to Dockland for shopping. Nothing much for me, but since we are in a group we try to follow each other. We spend couple of hours in Dockland then we went back to Chinatown for dinner. Ya, Chinese food again cause mom always preferred Chinese food. So no choice lor.
After dinner, we went back to one of our apartment for a good rest , pack and get ready for our midnight flight .

THE END OUR MELBOURNE TRIP..

Melbourne Australia June 2018- Day 4

Day 4 itinerary is more relaxing. We start our journey at 9am, heading to Brighton Beach to see the fancy colours tiny houses. Is really windy there but despite to that we still enjoying taking pictures here and there.

See the colourful houses !

Don't ask my why but I just love this picture. The nature of mess creates is beauty ...hahahaha

2nd stop - Yarra Valley Winery. Not much to do there cause is winter, no grapes. Just do some wine testing at Chandon Winery, paid AUD 10 to test 5 different types of wines. They will knock off this AUD 10 if you do buy any wines there.

After this, we supposed to go another winery but we changed our plan. We went to SouthBank Night Market and guess what ..another disappointed choice. They do not open night market during winter!!!
Ohh...so sad. No choice, we just went across the road and shopped in a supermarket (forgot the name) bought some food , cheese and wines for our dinner at apartment. We chit chat , drink and eat all night long to end our Day 4.
** No pictures **

Melbourne Australia June 2018 - Day 3

Day 3 - Our departure time slightly late around 9am. So, we have more time to enjoy our breakfast at apartment .
Here's our itinerary for Day 3 is Puffing Billy to enjoy steam train ride , Warrock farm to enjoy their local farm western lunch, the kids to feed the cows, squeeze milk from diary cow, tractor ride around the farm, kangaroo and koala. After this, we went to another wildlife park call Maru to feed the kangaroos etc etc. We also drop by  at Panny chocolate factory at Philip Island . We played some games there to earn some free chocolates. After the sweet tooth desserts, we proceed to Philip Island. It was very crowded in that evening and some drizzling rains. It was so cold . Despite to that, the children really can tahan the coldness and patiently wait for the little penguins to return.

Our healthy lunch, feeding animals and sheep sheaving show at Warrock Farm

Gaming to earn free chocolates

There is a baby kangaroo in her stomach, can you see the tail hanging out.

Just a welcome sign cause no camera is allow when the penguins return.

That's all for our Day 3 , a cold and tiring day but we enjoying it so much except the penguin session. Too crowded, a bit disappointed .

Melbourne Australia June 2018 - Day 2

We had an early trip . We got to depart at 0730 from our apartment and heading to Great Ocean Road. Experience one of the world's most scenic coastal drives. See the towering 12 Apostles before its gone.
When we on the way , we stop at the Split Point Light House at Airey Inlets which is open to the public. The views are simply breath taking.

.

This little café is very homely and cozy. The way they display the art stone are simply sweet and homely. My lovely family pictures :-)

Ohh..before we reach Great Ocean Road, we stopped by Kennett River for koala & bird spotting. We had fun cause the birds are too friendly.

Can you spot the koala here?

After this we heading to 12 apostles view. The weather was real cold and windy. Excuse our messy hair and face expression.

End of our day 2 and we reach town around 7.30pm and again we ate Chinese food for our dinner and some light shopping before we heading back to apartment.
