Ham & Cheese Muffin 05.01.2010

After browsing the net for quite sometime and finally found a muffin that using ham & cheese , my favorite. The method is easy!. I'm quite satisfy with the output , the only problem i had was the uneven height of the muffin. Anyway, I will not give up and will definitely give another try.

Here's the recipe:-


150g x Cake Flour
6g x Baking Powder
1pc x Medium Egg
30g x Sugar
50g x Unsalted Butter (melted)
70g x Milk
1g x Salt (you can ommit this if using the salted butter)
3 slices x Ham (cut into small pcs)
50g x Cheddar Cheese (cut into small dice)
Parsley (chopped)



Preheat Ove to 180C
Place the cupcake liners into the pans
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together, set aside
Put the egg and suagr in a bowl and place the bowl over the pan of hot water
With hand mixer beat the gg mixture using spatula fold to combine, then add the melted butter and fold again.
Pour all the rest ingredients (flour mixture, ham, cheese and parsley) fold just until they incorporate (do not overmix)
Pour the batter into cupcake liners.
Bake for 25mins or lightly browned and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Kampung lifestyle 30.12.2009~03.01.2010

I went back to my husband's hometown, a small village at Sg Petani surronding with padi field. Previously, i went home with him i feel time passed really slow and boring there. This time, i feel so much different with our daughter along. Now, she can walk & run easily so we can play a lot of things with her..

We let her try on to fly the kite and we also bring her to waterfall to feel the cold water..she enjoyed it so much. Although she sometime a bit naughty but overall we still love her a lot..hahaha. Especially my husband, he really have the patience to handle her.

We supposed to visit our father who admitted hospital to check his liver, but the operation has to drop off as my father in law's blood pressure is too high to proceed the opeartion. Hence, no choice to discharged from hospital on 31st Dec and reschedule the operation next week on 07th Jan 2010. We hope nothing serious on his liver and can just simply take medicine to subside it.

Xmas Gathering Dinner with Galfrens on 18.12.2009

We had our X'mas dinner gathering at LE Meridien Hotel, at Kl Central. The food is not bad and is worth the value if your stomach can really load up so much food..but the dessert area is not so fantastic compared to those buffet restaurant like Tenji or Shogun. I'm not a dessert lover, so Im ok with it.

Beside having a great dinner, we also had our so call best dress awards. we had a great fun and memorable moment. Here are the pictures of the winner and 2nd runner up. A bunch or beautiful ladies here mostly in black..kekeke

02.12.2009 - Banana Choc Chip Muffin

Lately, I really have the urge to learn more baking food. Probably this was affected by one of the blogger Happy Home Baking (HHB). Her blog is really fantastic and her pictures of the food is really make me feel tempted to try out the food. The recipe also very easy and the successful rate is rather high.



After reviewing her blog, i have printed out a few recipes that I wanted to try it someday. So i choose the easiest one 'Banana Choc Chip Muffin' . Guess what, is really tasty and easy to make..


Here is the output of my muffins...hmmm yummy..My family likes it a lot.. Will do it again, when i've more banana...

my daughter - Joelle Kok Xin Yi

She is now about 18months old and she is playful and cheeky. Sometime is fun to play with her but also feel frustrated when she is stubborn.

She love her dad more than me... :-(. Well, no choice as im always the bad role in the family and her dad is always the hero and Mr nice man..u know.

She now learning her speech and is really funny when she learn to sing a song. Guess what is her favorite song..is Twinkle twinkle little star'. She will just follow the last word when she listen to this song. She likes to scream which really irritating ..urhh..she learn all these frm her cousin (my brother's son). He used to be the little monster at home, now my girl has replaced this sit..sad isn't it..

I'm really headache on her pass motion. She never wants to go to toilet. Whenever we try to make her go to toilet she will cry & cry ..until we gave up. After a while she will shit on her pampers. really don't know whats wrong with her..sigh. Im wondering anyone can help me this...

Lately, she managed to handle the spoon well and eat by herself. Still a little messy but consider a vast improvement as previously she used to drop most of her food on the floor. Now, just a little bit on her chair..and eat up 90% of the food in the bowl..good huh..

Nevertheless, I wish she is always happy & healthy baby. We love her forever..

Bad news 12.11.09

This day is the day that my father in law has just done his full check up and the news came out 'no good' . According to doctor , his liver are full of 'dots' in it and suspect he diagnose a liver cancer. Anyway, final report will need to testify by Alor Setar hospital which will take about 1 month. We really hope the report came out just some sickness on the liver instead.

My father in law seems ok and no pain and his appetite is also good. We really don't believe that he got such illness. Nevertheless, we will never give up and we hope god is taking care of him. Even he do have such illness, we hope he can live happily and do whatever he wants to do and live with fulfillness.

Human tends to end their life one day, thus we must cherish our life and time to do our best and live happily so we will not leave this world with full of regrets.

my birthday 2009

This year, my husband bring me & daughter to Movenpick Marche Restaurant at The Curve for a dinner. Well, feel abit dissapointed as the food not that nice and not worth the value.

Anyway, Im still appreciate his arrangement.

I've done some cheesecake cupcakes for myself..oops..forgot to take photos ..arhh..

Anyway, this is the most easiest recipe that i ever done for cheesecake. No baking, no gelatin and yet still tasty..curious ya?? Im so sorry, this is my secret recipe and will only do it for special occassion..

Till then, i wish myself Happy Birthday and may all my dreams and wishes will come true..yeh...
