Northern Region Trip on 25th ~27 June 09

This is really a suprise and adventure trip that i ever had. really have no idea why my hubby have such mood to travel like this.
We were going back to Sg Petani on 23/June, Tuesday after work. So we reached SP around 12am, as usual he love the mini nasi lemak there so we bought some for our supper. The nasi lemak cost us about RM0.60/pkt and my hubby usually need to eat 2 pkts to fill his stomach.
The next day on Wed, we went to the temple to do the ceremony to invite my mom in law back to the house with our 'chou sin' back to our old house in Semeling. Then we settled everthing within the same afternoon. We spend another nite in Semeling on Wed.
On Thurs, we just spend sometime with my father in law and myself cook lunch for them. Then we proceed to Ipoh around 4.30pm . We reached Ipoh at around 7.30pm and we meet up our Auntie for dinner and put a nite in her house at Simpang Pulai. They had a big nite market there on Thur nite, so we went there for some ipoh food ..lor.
Friday morning, we went to Ming Kok Tim Sum as Foh San is closed on that day. This is my 1st time eating Ming Kok Tim Sum, honestly i don't really like it. I prefered Foh San . The old Foh San building closed now and they will open a new outlet (very big building) just opposite Ming Kok on 02nd July. Hopefully, this new Foh San will keep the same quality taste & size of tim sums..

After the Tim Sum's breakfast, we went to Pasir Pinji to buy some Ipoh Yong Tau Foo..for our steamboat dinner at Cameron. I love this food..yummy.
We reached Cameron on Friday around 1230pm and we checked into a new hotel call Titiwangsa. We paid RM108 for 1 nite accomodation, breakfast & steamboat dinner.
We enjoyed our stay at Cameron as the weather is very cold and nice. As usual, after dinner we went to their nite market for their famous corn, sweet potatoes etc.

The next day, after breakfast we went to Tea Shop and enjoying our cup of tea and the scenery there. I was glad that my daughter is sleeping through out the journey to & fro Cameron otherwise i really not sure whether i can control my car sick that well.
Anyway, the road from Simpang Pulai to Cameron is very wide and so much better compared to the old road from Tapah.

After we enjoyed our tea scenery, we went to Sungkai town for our famous 'brewed pig trotter'. It was really delicious and is really a good combination to go with white rice..yummy. Even my daughter love the mixture. After lunch at Sungkai, we went to Sungkai Hot Spring.

This is our 1st visit there and it was well maintain there. The villa there are nice but really not sure what to do there if to overnite there cos the felda is rather inside and is nothing there..only the plantation. We spend 2 hours at the hot spring and we proceed our way back to KL. We reached Subang around 5.00pm and all us was so tiring but fun..u know

This is the spring pool with a octopus slide..quite fun though and the water is cooling

This is a special hot spring water, the temperature is more than 100 deg C and is only meant for egg boiling. Must give a try the taste of the egg using this hot spring water. Some people were saying they taste better..i really can't differentiate it.

This is one of the warm pool and is good for young kids so they won't catch the cold easily..

I rather pity my hubby as he got itchy on his body due to allergy. Not sure what he ate , most probably over consumed durian ..hahaha. But he is so kind to bring us here & there with his itchy body...
Last but not lease, here's the address of the brew pig trotter at Sungkai.
Choy Kee Restaurant
35 Jalan Besar 35600 Sungkai Perak Darul Ridzuan.
Location : To get to Sungkai town, turn at Sungkai exit on North-South Highway, which is between Bidor exit and Slim River exit. Around an hour drive from Ipoh.

Concern become a blame

16.06.2009 , Tuesday

When im on the way to work, received a sms from a colleague saying that his flight that just travel back from Manila have confirmed 1 case of H1N1 . Hence, he needs to quarantine himself at home and he need to report himself to the Ministry of Health for further checking.

At that moment, i feel worry for everyone in my office as everyone have been in contact with him and everyone have children and family members. Although, I do not know the result yet but i thought we must prepared and precautious. I know another female colleague is having a flu on Monday, hence I immediately call her to see doctor and take MC to rest at home as usually a person who is sick tends to be weaken. Informed my HR dept for what happening etc..

Unfortunately, my kind concern has been blame for spreading the news around and cause everybody in the office panic. I was so upset about this. The person who blame me is the person who took the flight. I just don't understand why he accuse me. How can this person so selfish. Alhtough the result is not confirm yet but what is wrong to be proactive and prevent getting on it. This man is blaming me making him & his family uncomfortable due to my action.

Did he ever think, what will happen if his result is positive!! Would it be too late to precautious then??

This man has been working with me 10yrs and i know his attitude very well. IN fact, i throw back a question to him. Imagine, if both of us swap the role. Meaning, Im the one who in contact with the infected flight. What do u think he will do in the office. I can assure you the panic situation can be worsen becos he likes to exaggarate all matters.

I've been bear with his attitude all this years and has been avoiding to be closed with him or nice with him becos i don't want to upset myself. But this time, i upset myself again for being concern... Sometime , is really confused me how to be a good person.

Anyway, after thinking about this i still don't think im wrong on this matter and i'll not give in to this man. Becos, im doing the good deed for everyone.

Melbourne Australia from 13th-19th May 2009

Have spend a great time during my holiday at Melbourne. We been most of the places like Great Ocean Road, Philip Island for Penguin Parade, Bhallarat Gold mine , Yarra Valley Domain Winery, Fritzol Garden at the city, St Patrick Church, Crown Casino, Eureka Tower. We paid RM1900 per person for the pkg inclusive of tour, meal & accomodation in Mercure Welcome Hotel at St Bourke Street. We are very satisfied with the tour guide, Ms Candy and she is so professional and helpful. We have 9person in our group, hence we were arranged a private coach with a driver cum tour guide. Is really an unforgetable trip.
On this journey, i can see the different on the treament among friends. Im not complaining as this is the fact. Every friend will treat individually differently under a different circumstances. Either bad or good. For my case, a so call good friend of mine might not as good as i thought. I was a little bit sad but after a while i understand that we can't always expect the same treatment in return. Becos of this reason, i will never expect any return from my friend. As for myself, i will just do my best being a friend. Lets not talk about the unhappy thing.

Guess what, I feel glad to found the famous Vietnam noodle shop and have tried. Is really tasty and is worth the value. The shop name call MEKONG, which only next to our hotel. A famous eater Chai Lan (Hkg) tried this shop and has been introduced to public in his book. Even Bill Clinton have tried it ..so whoever wants to go Melbourne , do not miss this..ya .

We went to Dandeonong and tried the steam train. It was quite interesting and i personally think that this is a very good idea to keep the history for our new generation.

After this we went to a Germany restaurant call Cookoo Restaurant for our lunch. Tne enviroment is great and they serve buffet for our lunch. The buffet is fabulous and tasty. They plenty of food but i just can't feed eveything into my stomach. Here are some pictures showing this restaurant and their food..yummy yummy.

This is how its look like inside the restaurant. Nice isn't it.
They also have a mini live band to sign for us..even for lunch.

Here's their food on the tray..gosh . Im just showing a few pictures ..ya

Well, in fact i've more photos to share but just too lazy to upload inot my blog. If interested, pls feel free to view it in my facebook.

Cheers

BVC MEMBERSHIP

31.03.2009 Tuesday,

Is always a frustration everytime I wanted to make a booking at BVC resorts as I always get the negative reply. Really wondering what is the previllege as BVC member. I've just wrote in a complaint letter to the GM Mr Ronnie Tan as follow:-

RE: NO BENEFITS/PREVILLEGE BEING A BVC MEMBER

Firstly, I would like to inform that I’ve placed my trust in BVC and purchase the membership since 2000. However, BVC betrayed this trust and it ended up ruining my trip, time and money. If BVC is so busy and no longer extend more allocation for the existing membership, then you need to either increase the allocation or stop recruiting new membership.

I’ve been calling up almost 3 times/month just to get a room at Berjaya Langkawi, unfortunately its always fully booked. As a membership, I’ve been co-operate by selecting my holiday on weekday as we knew the chances of getting the room on weekend is impossible. Besides, we are also co-orperate to call up for reservation based on 3months advance booking and yet we still cannot get my room. Please tell me , what is my benefits as BVC membership!

Frankly speaking, they way BVC managed their time sharing business will not be tolerated and I can assure you this will lead to the eventual of demise of your business. I suggest you look into the heart of this problem and resolve it quickly.

In any case..I don't expect any positive response from them as I don't see they are really keen in this business anymore. As per their annual account report..they are in debts thats why we suspect some of the BVC affiliated hotels are no longer in service for the membership.

Insecure & Upset Feeling

27.02.2009 Friday.
This few days, i feel obsolutely moody..maybe becos of his back bone issues. He admitted hospital for MRI checked and advise by doctor that he have to do a lot of swimming to improve his back bone. Other sports are strictly NO. I feel upset is becos he is not only stubborn, he is selfish too. I know his wish to climb up to KK mountain but when things turn out like this, he can't force himself to go up there. He always think his back bone is not that serious is only the doctor exaggarate the matter. But he never think, what if he become worst after the mountain climing, what will happen to us if there is anything happen to him ?? He never think of this, so this call selfish. In his mind, we are over worry and try to stop him to achieve his dream.

Everyone have a dream, did everyone achieve them? Why they are not achievable? Some becos, they are not really work into it & some becos their current condition does not allow them to achieve it. How would this people feel?? Dissapointed? Yes, of course they do. But after sometime, they might think luckily they never insist becos they might have sacrifice others to achieve their dream.

So, we have to measure which are more important. Dream or health? If the person does not achieve his/her dream..this is only affected themself. But if you do not have a good health, you will affected your loved one around you & your family?? Which is more important?

To me, he is such a mature and understanding man. But when come to his health issue, he is so stubborn which really make me feel frustrated. Sigh....

Since I can't change his decision, I will have to train myself to be more independant. I've to train myself to handle the family all by myself becos Im really worry this bad time suddenly happen and Im not prepare for it. Im not being negative, but no one knows what will happen in future.

Moody..day
